Parking

One dedicated space reserved for the house, free, plus free guest parking in front — so a second vehicle isn’t a problem. We send the exact location of the reserved space with your arrival details.

WiFi

56–72 Mbps throughout the house, all three floors, enough for several people working at once. There’s a desk if you need somewhere to sit down to it.

Arrival

A smart lock with virtual keys, so nobody has to meet you with a set of keys and a late arrival after a long drive isn’t a problem. The house is accessible front and rear, with its own private entrance.

Laundry and linen

Washing machine, drying rack and iron. Towels and bed linen provided. On stays longer than a week we clean and change the linen and towels weekly.

Getting here

The mainline station is walking distance, with LNER services direct from London. Good road links via the A19 and A1(M). Teesside International Airport is about 23 miles.

Working at the studios

The Northern Studios on Lynn Street and the Church Street production village are both around a fifteen-minute walk — near enough to leave the car at the house for the duration of a shoot, which makes it a natural fit as crew accommodation. It’s also a regular base for contractors working on developments around the Marina.

Where to eat near Hartlepool Marina

You’re spoilt for choice on the Marina. The restaurants and bars along Navigation Point are a five-minute walk, and most evenings you’ll find a table without booking. The Premier Inn Hartlepool Marina is just around the corner — several of our guests nip round for a no-fuss cooked breakfast or an evening drink in the bar, both open to non-residents. And if you’d rather stay in, the kitchen’s fully equipped and Asda is a few minutes’ walk away for supplies.

House rules

Non-smoking throughout. No parties or events. We prefer midweek and longer stays, with a minimum stay at weekends. Smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguishers fitted.
